April News Letter

Hello All,

This month, the Brevard Symphony closes its regular Masterworks Subscription Series with a program featuring the romantic and exciting Symphony No. by Serge Rachmaninoff. This is an event not to be missed. The concert takes place at the King Center for the performing Arts in Melbourne on Saturday, April 6th at 8PM. It will be conducted by Christopher Confessore.

Both the Atlantic Classical Orchestra and the Brevard Symphony Orchestra have announced their 2019-2020 seasons. They both look great! I will be telling you more about them in the coming months.

In other news, my garden is doing great – including a nice crop of bananas! I am looking forward to being able to spend a lot more time in the garden very soon.

My poor Duke Blue Devils were eliminated in the Elite Eight and will not be going to the Final Four this yesr. This was such a shame, as this was no doubt one of the most talented teams Coach K has seen. AND my Nats dropped 2 out of 3 in the series home opener against the Mets. UGH!

I will keep you all posted on how my summer is going.
