October News Letter

Hello All,

The Brevard Symphony Orchestra opens its season at 2 PM on October 26th at the King Center. This is our annual FREE Family Concert “Spooktacular”. It will include lots of Halloween themed music and is fun for the whole family. Come in costume and join the fun. Many members of the orchestra will be in costume as well. I won’t tell you what my costume is. You’ll have to come and see for yourself!

The Melbourne Chamber Music Society opens there season on Friday, October 25th at 7:30 PM. The concert features pianist Stephen Lin. All concerts are at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. This is the first time ever, that a solo pianist has been featured on the series.

The Nats are in the post-season! YAY!!! For the first time in a while, I will have a team to root for in October!

New in the garden this month is a raised bed herb planted. I just love it. Still been doing my beach walks, and my yoga. Also still focusing on my “capital S” Stoic readings.

It has been a terrific summer and I am looking forward to another terrific orchestra season. Hope to see many of you at all the concerts.
